LaGuardia Airport

LaGuardia Airport, named after Fiorello LaGuardia, former mayor of New York, is mainly used for flights within the United States, with the exception of some flights from Canada, the Bahamas and Bermuda, as it has no customs or immigration service. 

It has 4 terminals: Marine Air Terminal (A), Central Terminal (B), US Airways Terminal (C) and Delta Terminal (D).

How to Get to Manhattan from LaGuardia

Airport Transfer 

This is the easiest and fastest option. If you decide to book an airport transfer, a driver will be waiting for you in the airport holding a sign with your name on it and will take you directly to your hotel, thus avoiding extra toll fees.

Taxi

The most common option is to get downtown by taxi, but the least recommended. The fare from LaGuardia Airport to Manhattan is between US$ 50 and US$ 60 including tolls and tip, depending on which street you go to.

Buses

This is the cheapest option. For only US$ 3 and in just over half an hour you can get to Manhattan from LaGuardia. The bus is the M60, and operates from 5 am in the morning to 1 am and stops at terminals A, B and C of the airport.

The final bus destination is in northern Manhattan, at Columbia University, between Broadway and 116th Street. From here you can take the 1, 2, 3, A, B and C underground lines.

Limousine

Similarly to JFK Airport, it's possible to take a limo to the center. If you're a big group, it isn’t too expensive.

Other Ways

The shuttle service with a minibus per person is approximately US$ 10-US$ 15. We recommend this option for those traveling by themselves or for those who do not want to take the Subway.

It is also possible to take a helicopter for around US$ 600.
